Terrace brasserie Zundert, Netherlands
In this building design, creating horizontality has been one of the most important tasks. Considering that it is being built semi-attached to an older structure where verticality prevails, it has been very important goal to carefully separate the old from new. And at the same time joining them together. The design for the new part has a modern and at the same time warm style. Western red cedar (untreated) and glass are mainly composing all the facades. Both softened with a touch of canvas fabric to accentuate the main entrances to the building.
